Open-Hopper Barge

Open bottom mud barge is a modern and technologically advanced transport and unloading barge.  Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is composed of two precisely symmetrical half hulls on the left and right, which are tightly connected at the head and tail ends through hinge devices.  When unloading materials such as soil, stones, or sand, this barge can automatically unfold its two half hulls and flexibly open around the connecting axis.  This design makes the unloading speed of the open body mud barge extremely fast, making it the preferred equipment for offshore dumping operations.

1.Transport: Carries dredged materials (silt, sand, gravel, rocks) with capacities ranging from dozens to thousands of cubic meters.

2.Auto-Unloading Mechanism: Hydraulic systems split the barge longitudinally along a hinge axis, allowing materials to slide out by gravity within minutes, eliminating auxiliary equipment.

3.Shallow-Water Operation: Specially designed to unload in shallow areas, outperforming conventional barges

4.Self-Stabilizing Hull Structure: Loaded sediment's center of gravity generates a prying moment to aid opening; empty hulls self-close via a stabilizing moment.
