Cutter Suction Dredger

The cutter suction dredger is the use of rotating reamer to loosen the soil at the bottom of the river or the seabed, mixing water and sediment into a mud-water mixture, which is sucked into the pump body through the suction pipe and sent to the far end of the mud discharge area through the mud discharge pipe.  During the construction of cutter suction dredger, dredging, mud transport and mud unloading are integrated, complete by themselves, and have high production efficiency.  It is suitable for dredging inland lakes and coastal ports with small wind waves and low flow rate.  It is more suitable for excavation sand, sandy loam, silt and other soil, and can also dig clay after using toothed reamer.  The cutter head and other parts of the cutter suction dredger can be divided into hydraulic and mechanical power, of which the hydraulic type has a wider range of application and is more convenient to operate.
